Community Education Programs *DV: Domestic Violence (203) 575-0388 *SA: Sexual Assault (203)753-3613 Kindergarten – Grade 5Bullying Program (DV) Teaches children how to identify bully behavior and how to handle a bully. Personal Safety Program (SA) Teaches children the difference between safe touches and unsafe touches and here to go with a problem. Middle School StudentsCommunication Skills (DV) Teaches students how to communicate effectively. School Violence (DV) Teaches students warning signs of school violence and how to report safely. Sexual Harassment (SA) Teaches warning signs of sexual harassment, effective communication and how to set personal boundaries. Healthy vs. Unhealthy Relationships (DV) Helps students identify different types of relationships that they have in their daily lives and how they affect them. MVP Group (SA) (Male Violence Prevention Group) This eight week program is designed for students ages 9-16 who may be at risk to perpetrate domestic violence and /or sexual assault. The students will learn effective communication, anger management and how to set personal boundaries. High School StudentsDating Violence (DV) This program helps students identify types of abuse, warning signs and how to access help. Date Rape (SA) Discussion of the different types of rape, date rape drugs, sexual harassment, and safety planning. MVP Group (SA) (Male Violence Prevention Group) This eight week program is designed for students ages 9-16 who may be at risk to perpetrate domestic violence and /or sexual assault. The students will learn effective communication, anger management, what constitutes rape and dating violence, sexual stereotyping and how to effect personal relationships. |
